Rock Climbing

Goat climbing trips give participants an often once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn the skills and techniques for rock climbing at real, outdoor locations. Most young people are naturally drawn to climbing, whether it's a tree in their backyard, or a playground at school, but never have the chance to enjoy real rock climbing. Rock climbing, while it appeals to many people, young and old, is a sport that many never have the opportunity to enjoy because of the gear and training needed. Climbing is often surrounded by a sort of "mystique" because of the complicated gear and often remote locations. Goat seeks to reveal the simplicity of the sport and share our knowledge of climbing techniques and climbing areas so that everyone can enjoy. Our professional, and hilarious guides make climbing fun and enjoyable for everyone. Our trips get youth out to popular 5-star climbing areas in North and South Carolina including Rumbling Bald, Crowder's Mountain, and Table Rock.

At this point, Goat climbing trips are limited to approximately 6 participants. Each trip will have 2-3 guides depending on whether the group has a leader present. There may also be additional Goat volunteer staff to help at the bottom of the climb and take pictures.

Depending on the location, the time, and the group, Goat will provide a lunch of either sandwiches, burgers and dogs, or lobster tail and caviar.
